WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Madeleine Dean (PA-04) voted to finalize $11,936,080 in Community Project Funding that she previously secured for Berks and Montgomery Counties in the FY2024 spending bills.
This funding, included in the first of two government funding packages, will help address some of the most pressing needs in Berks and Montgomery Counties—including PFAS mitigation, infrastructure upgrades, affordable housing, and community centers.
“Our budget reflects our values—so it is especially meaningful when we can secure federal investments that directly improve our communities and the resources we can offer,” Congresswoman Dean said. “I’m always inspired by the organizations in our district who are on the ground, meeting the needs of our neighbors with innovation and compassion. They are deeply deserving of this federal funding, and I look forward to our continued partnerships.”
