WASHINGTON — Last night, the House of Representatives passed its Fiscal Year 2022 Appropriations bill. The budget includes $7,012,350 in Community Projects for 10 projects across Montgomery and Berks Counties. Community leaders have advocated for these investments; Congresswoman Madeleine Dean (PA-04) listened and took their concerns to Washington.
Congresswoman Dean is thrilled to announce funding for the following projects:
- $3 Million: Montgomery County Housing Authority – High Priority Capital Needs
- $1.35 Million: Colebrookdale Railroad Preservation Trust – Boyertown Yard Downtown Improvements
- $460K: Borough of Hatboro – Memorial Park ADA/Accessible Upgrade Project
- $450K: Pottstown’s TriCounty Community Network – Support Your Own Project
- $400K: JEVS Human Services – The Choice is Yours Program
- $332K: SEPTA – Schuylkill River Trail – Norristown Transportation Center
- $300K: Greater Philadelphia YMCA – New Early Learning Center
- $270K: Hedwig House – Psychiatric Rehabilitation Education Program (PREP)
- $250K: Holy Redeemer Hospital – Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) Care
- $200K: Norristown Area High School – Library Transformation Project
“I am thrilled that we passed our Fiscal Year 2022 Budget that includes substantial funding for community projects across our district in places like Boyertown, Norristown, and Pottstown,” Rep.
